can someone please explain these odds?? the customer service guy was a joke

they have this 3 way line but for everyone line you can do a "bet against" for better odds I believe, I don't understand it...also what's the difference between -.5 and money line for that team on a 3 way line? -.5 always seems to have better juice, thanks

1} i assume if you "bet against" say Arsenal -200 means you are
betting Arsenal does not cover the -1/2 and the odds you would
be getting are +200. In other words NOT Arsenal +200 is yours.
If Arsenal loses or ties then you profit the amount you wagered
times two {+200}. Otherwise you lose your stake if they cover,
i.e. win by 1 or more.

2} No difference. Arsenal -0.5 -200 is the same as Arsenal -200
on the 3 way line. If the -0.5 is -195 instead of -200, it is still
the same bet, only at slightly better odds.

The easiest way for me to think of it is "betting against" a team is betting a team NOT to win. Meaning, the other team wins or it is a draw. Another way to look at it is, you are taking the other team +/5.

The odds you are getting are the opposite of what it states. If it says -150, the odds you are getting are +150. I don't understand why it is done this way.

I found that thing with the odds being opposite of what you're actually getting to be confusing as well, but that's also the way it's done on the European exchanges like Betfair, so I suppose Mansion wanted to be consistent.

I guess it means someone wants silkeborg at +1060 and is offering
others to "bet against" that at -1060.

It can't mean that you get +1060 to "bet against" silkeborg
to not win the game since they should be about -1000 to
not win.

As explained above, +1060 is -1060. It makes sense because you the team they are playing, Copenhagen is a heavy favorite. Betting Against is saying.... Copenhagen +.5.

The normal handicap is Copenhagen -1, -1.5. They are a very heavy favorite. So -1060, or basically 10-1 to draw or win seems about right.
